I am born in Vienna and a lyric baritone with repertoire ranging from baroque to modern music.

After my singing studies in Vienna I joined with the season 2023/24 the ensemble of the Musikalische Komödie of the Oper Leipzig, where I also currently live.

 

In various operas, operettas and musicals, which have shaped my artistic work so far, I have been seen in various roles at festivals and theaters, such as at the Volksoper Vienna, at the Lehàr Festival Bad Ischl, at the summer festival operklosterneuburg and of course at the Musikalische Komödie Leipzig.

 

.My most important roles include:

Hans Sachs (“Hans Sachs”), Marcello and Schaunard (“La Bohème”), Harlequin (“Ariadne auf Naxos”), Dr. Falke (“Die Fledermaus”), Papageno (“Die Zauberflöte”), Ben (“The Telephone”), Uberto (“La Serva Padrona”), Freddy (“My fair Lady”), Perchik (“Anatevka”). 

 

I made my debut at the Musikalische Komödie as Perchik in “Anatevka”, and have previously appeared on stage as Stormtrooper in “The Producers”, Dr. Falke in “Die Fledermaus”), Freddy in “My Fair Lady” and in a double role in “Doctor Zhivago”.

In April and May 2024, I got the opportunity to sing Hans Sachs in Albert Lortzing's opera of the same name, my first title role on the stage of the Musikalische Komödie.

 

A very diverse repertoire awaits me this season:

I will make my debut as Zar Peter I in Zar und Zimmermann in February 2025, be part of a musical world premiere by Thomas Herrmanns, perform a lot of operetta and musicals - 2 roles from last season, which I will reprise: Dr. Falke right at the beginning of the season, and Perchik in January 2025.
